It was on the left-hand side when travelling towards Urmston and was demolished in 1958 or 1959 to make way for the Altrincham bound access slip road onto the motorway. On the opposite side of Stretford Road was an Auxiliary Fire Service station which used to house a 'Green Goddess'.
